When travel became possible again after the pandemic I began using my cell phone and digital zoom
to observe and capture everyday situations in public spaces
In 2023, I created a series of 111 photographs that reflect people’s longing for closeness, connection
and shared presence.
The images appear just as fragile and fleeting as the moments
of happiness they capture from a great distance.
